Michael Waltz Looks Back at 2023 Accomplishments

Last week, U.S. Rep. Michael Waltz, R-Fla., released an overview of his accomplishments in 2023.

“With 2023 behind us, I believe it’s important to celebrate all we’ve achieved for our community, our state, and our great country during my past year in Congress,” said Waltz. “One of the most important parts of my job as a congressman is working to find solutions for problems affecting our community – and that’s why I was proud to work alongside fellow members of Congress on both sides of the aisle to support our veterans, advance in science and space, keep us safe, and represent our great state of Florida.”

First elected to Congress in 2018, Waltz served in Afghanistan and is the first Green Beret to serve in Congress. He previously served as an aide to then-Vice President Dick Cheney.

Last month, Waltz was named to the U.S. House Oversight and Accountability Committee.
