Orlando Ranked Among Nation’s Top 10 Cities to Find a Job in 2025

With recent college graduations taking place across the country and the New Year signifying a fresh start for many, WalletHub has published its annual list of the “Best Cities for Jobs.”

To determine the best job markets in the United States, WalletHub compared 182 cities — including the 150 most populated cities as well as at least two of the largest cities from each state — across two key dimensions: “Job Market” and “Socio-economics.”

Orlando ranks #10 in the country for job seekers looking to secure high-quality positions. Orlando significantly outranked its in-state competitors. Miami finished in the top 40,, ranked 48th. Jacksonville finished in the top 100, at 92, and Tallahassee ranked 124th.

The job market remained strong in 2024, with unemployment levels staying relatively low. Some employers even faced labor shortages, giving job seekers an advantage when it came to negotiating compensation and benefits.
