Poll: Most Americans Oppose Race and Gender Identity Hiring

New poll results show a majority of voters opposed race and gender identity-based hiring.

With corporations and universities supporting liberal policies such as Diversity-Equity-Inclusion (DEI) and Critical Race Theory (CRT), a poll conducted by CRC Advisors revealed that most voters polled opposed race and gender identity-based hiring.

Other stats from poll revealed:

  • 66% oppose hiring based on race or gender identity.
  • 70% of Republicans and independents polled opposed the hiring practices.
  • 54% of Democratic Party voters polled also opposed.

CRC also asked respondents if the medical profession should get involved in the DEI movement when it came to providing medical treatment based on race. Sixty-two percent said no.

CRC’s polling found that every political demographic opposed racial justice except for liberals, who seemed to be torn on the issue with 45% in favor and 45% opposing and five percent unsure. Another question was asked if state-owned hospitals and medical schools that “impose rules and promote and provide services based on race, gender identity, and sexuality” should receive taxpayer funding. Fifty-nine percent said medical schools and hospitals and should not get any government taxpayer funding.

When asked, 61% said they would oppose the American College of Surgeons endorsing doctors to consider a patient’s race and identity when providing care.

CRC said their finding also showed that all political groups and demographics opposed that move.

“This poll is yet again another piece of evidence that Americans care more about merit than a woke political agenda,” said CRC.
