Poll Shows Only 30% of Voters Saying US Going Right Direction

A recent poll conducted by Rasmussen Reports reveals that less than a third of voters surveyed believe that the United States is headed in the right direction, while 64% believe the nation is headed down the wrong track, and the remaining were unsure. The national telephone and online survey of likely voters coincided with last week’s report of a lower-than-expected GDP figure for the past quarter.

The 30% number marks a nine-point drop from the same time last year when 39% said that the nation was headed in the right direction.
