Rick Scott Wins 2nd Term in Senate Race

Florida Republican Senator Rick Scott is projected to win a second term by a comfortable margin. Rick Scott defeated Debbie Mucarsell-Powell, earning 55.7% of the vote to 42.6% for Mucarsell-Powell. Despite recent polls indicating a potentially close race from Democratic challenger Debbie Mucarsel-Powell, Scott was able to capitalize on growing support for Trump and Republicans across the Sunshine State.
