Ron DeSantis Announces Two County Supervisors of Elections

Gov. Ron DeSantis recently announced two appointments to serve as county supervisors of elections.

At the end of last week, DeSantis announced the appointment of Deidra Pettis as Washington County Supervisor of Elections.

Pettis, of Chipley, is an E911 Assistant for the Washington County Board of County Commissioners. She has been employed in public service for over 15 years. Pettis attended Northwest Florida State College.

DeSantis also announced the appointment of Sherry Taylor as Hendry County Supervisor of Elections.

Taylor, of LaBelle, is the Chief Deputy Supervisor of Elections for Hendry County. Previously, she was a Paralegal for the Luckey Law Firm, P.L. With over ten years of experience with elections in the Hendry County Supervisor of Elections office, Taylor is currently enrolled in Florida Certified Election Professionals certification courses.
