Trump Seeks to Build 1,500 Condos in Miami

A report from South Florida Business Journal revealed that President Donald Trump wants to build a 1,500 condominium complex in Miami.

The city approved the rezoning of the 56.4-acre property at 4400 N.W. 87th Ave. in August 2024. The City Council will meet on January 15 to review the site plan and master development plan.

Designed by Pascual Perez Kiliddjian Starr Architects & Planners, the project comprises four 20-story towers, each 210 feet tall. The Miami-Dade Aviation Department confirmed on December 18 that the towers won’t interfere with Miami International Airport operations. Attorney Felix Lasarte, representing Trump, stated that the FAA has approved the project’s height.

“It would be the tallest building in Doral and feature four 18-hole golf courses,” Lasarte said.

The last Trump-branded condo in the area, Trump Tower III, was developed by another company prior to Trump’s presidency.

Lasarte looks forward to starting construction and selling units within the next 18 months, with prices starting around $2 million. If approved, the Trump Doral International Towers will be the first new condo in South Florida brandished by a sitting president.

The development will feature 1,498 residential units, 141,694 square feet of commercial space, and 3,522 parking spaces, totaling 5.66 million square feet. Units will range from 885 to 5,000 square feet, including villa units with rooftop terraces. A public plaza will connect to the tallest building via a bridge, and the project aims at the luxury market with links to a golf resort and spa.
