A new analysis by the ticket comparison site SeatPick reveals that Florida is home to six of the ten highest-rated theme parks in the United States, highlighting the Sunshine State’s status as the nation’s premier destination for amusement park thrills.
Topping the list is Pennsylvania’s Knoebels Amusement Resort, which boasts an impressive 83.3% of its over 30,000 combined reviews on Google and Tripadvisor receiving five-star ratings. Florida’s parks, however, also performed exceptionally well in the rankings, with Universal’s Islands of Adventure landing in third place (80.1% five-star reviews), followed by Magic Kingdom (fifth), Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex (sixth), Disney’s Animal Kingdom (seventh), Universal Studios Florida (eighth), and EPCOT (tenth).
SeatPick’s analysis focused on U.S. parks with at least 10,000 reviews on Google and Tripadvisor combined, measuring the percentage of five-star reviews to gauge overall customer satisfaction.

The Epic Impact of Epic Universe
Florida’s hold on the amusement park industry is set to strengthen even further with the grand opening of Epic Universe, Universal Orlando Resort’s highly anticipated fourth theme park.
Epic Universe features five new immersive lands, including a Super Nintendo World—with rides themed around Mario Kart and Donkey Kong—as well as attractions based on How to Train Your Dragon and Universal Monsters. The park introduces an unprecedented level of interactivity and cutting-edge technology, emphasizing real-time character interactions and augmented reality elements integrated into rides and park navigation.
Since its opening in summer 2025, Epic Universe has garnered international attention, with strong early reviews suggesting it could soon join—and potentially disrupt—the top ten rankings in SeatPick’s next analysis.
Local tourism leaders believe Epic Universe could be a game-changer for Orlando’s already thriving hospitality sector. Hotels near Universal Orlando have reported a significant increase in bookings, and city officials anticipate record-breaking tourism revenue for the remainder of 2025.
“With the launch of Epic Universe, Orlando reaffirms its status as the theme park capital of the world,” said Gilad Zilberman, CEO of SeatPick. “Florida already dominates our rankings, and with this major expansion, its appeal will only grow stronger.”
As the summer vacation season peaks, Florida continues to offer the greatest variety and highest-rated experiences for families seeking unforgettable amusement park adventures.

Methodology:
An initial list of amusement parks in the United States was sourced from Wikipedia. Theme parks with 10,000 or more combined reviews across Google and Tripadvisor were considered, which left a total of 81 attractions. Theme parks were then ranked based on the highest percentage of 5-star reviews. The number of reviews were marked as zero for any listing that could not be found on either Google Reviews or Tripadvisor.
