Miami and Orlando Among Top 10 Cities for Business Travel in New Report

Two world-famous cities in Florida known for leisure were named two of the best ciies for business travel. A report published this week ranked Orlando as the third-best city in the country for business travel. Miami finished in seventh place, and both cities moved two places higher in the rankings than their pre-pandemic rankings in 2019, when Orlando took 5th place, and Miami was in 9th place.

Booking.com for Business examined how the international and domestic travel destination rankings in the United States have changed since the pandemic. Booking.com’s data has shown certain cities’ positions in the standings weren’t affected, while others either lost their spot or entered the top 20. They obtained the latest numbers by looking at customers who selected they were traveling for business purposes in 2019 and compared them with the same period in 2023.

Methodology: Statistics for this article are based on the number of gross bookings made for business purposes on the Booking.com platform, between the first six months of 2019 and the first six months of 2023 in the United States.
