The University of Florida has been ranked No. 1 nationally for online bachelor’s degree programs in the latest U.S. News & World Report Best Online Programs rankings, marking another milestone in the university’s expanding digital education footprint.
UF also earned top rankings in several specialized categories, including No. 1 for online bachelor’s programs in business and for veterans, and No. 3 for online bachelor’s programs in psychology. Multiple graduate-level online programs also ranked among the nation’s leaders, with education programs ranked No. 2 and the online MBA program ranked No. 5.
University officials said the rankings reflect the growth and quality of UF Online, which offers undergraduate programs across multiple colleges and disciplines and is designed to serve working adults, veterans, and students balancing education with other responsibilities.
The online programs combine flexible course delivery with the same academic standards and faculty as on-campus programs, while offering reduced tuition and fees, according to the university.
Beyond undergraduate programs, several UF colleges placed in the Top 20 nationally for online graduate offerings, including the Warrington College of Business and the Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering. Specific programs ranking highly include online master’s degrees in engineering, electrical engineering, and business.
