Florida Democratic Candidate for U.S. Senate Is The Poster Child for Every Far-Left Group

It’s true, Democratic candidate for Florida U.S. Senate Angie Nixon is a member of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), the Working Families Party, SEIU, and the Democratic Party.

Nixon pulled off a major upset victory of the heavily-funded establishment candidate Alex Vindman. (Since the upset, Vindman has pleged his remaining millions worth camapaign funds to other Democratic Party campaigns)

But as some candidates move to the fringe factor in a primary, don’t expect Nixon too moderate or move to the middle at all in the general election against incumbent Senator, Republican Ashley Moody.

Far left progressive group, March On PAC, is already highlighting Nixons liberal policies.

“Nixon built a statewide campaign around working people, economic justice, immigrant rights, affordable housing, healthcare, labor rights, public education, and a fundamental belief that government should serve communities and not billionaires and corporations,” the group said.

Nixon is already campaigning on giving amnesty to illegal immigrants, abolishing ICE and mass deportation fir illegals in the U.S.

She has been a big supporter of the Black Lives Matter movement and her campaign platform calls for Medicare for All, tuition-free public college and trade school, more government spending for affordable housing.

“She is literally the flavor of the month for all of the progressive groups who think they can turn Florida blue this November,” said Florida Talk Radio Financial commentator Tom Gaitens.

Despite her far-left views, a majority of Florida Democrats chose her as the top person to take on a popular Florida elected official Sen. Moody.
